Mari kita belajar simple present tense
SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Tenses ini mempunyai 2 kegunaan;
1.
Untuk menyatakan kegiatan yang rutin dilakukan
Contoh :
Robert goes to school everyday
2.
Menyatakan suatu “ general truth “ atau kebenaran
yang bersifat umum
Contoh :

Iron sinks in water
-
The sun rises in the east
-
Water oils at 100 degrees C
-
Etc
Ciri – ciri Simle Present Tense:
1.
Predikat kalimatdari tenses ini selalu berupa
kata kerja asal / kata kerja bentuk pertama/ infinitive-verb

Khusus untuk subjet yang terdiri dari “ orang
ketiga tunggal “misalnya : selly, David , he , she , the man , a woman, it dsbnya , kata kerjanya selalu
mendapat tambahan “S/ ES “

Kalimat tanyadibentuk dengan menambahkan kata “
DO/ DOES “ di depan subject, sedangkan negatifnya dengan menambahkan do notdi
belakang subject, bila kalimat sudah mnggunakanDOES / SOES NOT maka akhiran S/
ES dihilangkan kata kerjanya.
